*David Born ust completed filming a major supporting role in the Feature 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D' for Lionsgate, playing Gavin Miller. David also just completed a Guest Starring appearance on The Lying Game for ABC family. as well as a co-starring role on "Community" for NBC playing a Robin Williams Impersonator. Having worked with renowned film director Oliver Stone in the film W. along with Josh Brolin, David is most currently part of The Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winning cast of 'Temple Grandin' for HBO, playing Professor Shanklin, a supporting role played opposite Emmy winner Claire Danes. On TV, David recently completed his 2nd Season 2008-10 on the critically acclaimed NBC TV Series 'Friday Night Lights' Playing Dillon School Superintendent Paul Dunley working with 2010-11 Emmy Nominees Connie Britton & Kyle Chandler. David just completed a supporting role in the Pilot for the new NBC series 'Chase' and just wrapped a Leading role in the Feature 'Universal Squadrons', starring Barry Corbin amd Riley Smith. He co-starred in the film Disaster Movie, and also has a leading role in the Feature 'Apart' starring Michael Bowen and a supporting role in 'Puncture', starring Chris Evans and Brett Cullen. David was recently seen in a supporting role in 'The Librarian 3' for TNT , working with Noah Wyle and Jonathan Frakes. Other recent TV jobs include a co-starring role on 'Prison Break 'a recurring role in of 'Speed Freaks', a new comedy series for Comedy Central as well as a recurring roles on Walker, Texas Ranger. Recently on the big screen, David has a Starring Role in the Indy film 'God Thinks Your A Loser', a Supporting role in the Indy Hit 'Little Chenier' and Beyond A Reasonable Doubt' starring Michael Douglas.
He has a Leading Role in 'The Texas Triangle' due out next year.
David has also appeared in over 50 Television Commercials most recently a National for Direct TV as 'The Texans'. A veteran of over 150 Corporate/Industrial Films, he has hundreds of voice over credits: Radio, Corporate, Animated.
On the Stage Mr. Born has vast experience having appeared in over 100 Professional Theatrical productions for such Theatres as The Alley Theatre, Stages Repertory, The Ensemble, The Auditorium in Chicago and The Complex in Los Angeles. David holds a B.A. in Drama from The University of Houston School of Theatre and Studied formal acting at The American Conservatory Theatre A.C.T. In San Francisco and at Chris Wilson's Studio for Actor's in Houston. David is also an accomplished Live Corporate & Private Auctioneer, having worked dozens of Auctions. His ability to Auction has landed him National Commercials and appearances on national TV shows & movies like The Librarian 3 for TNT.
